Safety Coordinator
The Entry-Level Safety Coordinator supports the Safety Department in maintaining a safe, compliant, and healthy work environment. This role assists with safety programs, training, inspections, and documentation to ensure compliance with OSHA, FAA (if applicable), and company safety policies. This position is ideal for someone early in a career in safety and compliance.
Basic Skills and Competency Requirements Preferred:
· Assist in the implementation and maintenance of company safety programs and policies
· Conduct routine safety inspections and audits under supervision
· Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss reporting and investigations
· Maintain safety records, logs, training files, and compliance documentation
· Support safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and onboarding safety orientation
· Monitor PPE usage and assist with inventory management
· Help identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions
· Assist with regulatory compliance (OSHA, FAA, EPA, and company standards as applicable)
· Communicate safety expectations clearly to employees and supervisors
· Participate in safety meetings and committees

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Basic knowledge of workplace safety principles
· Ability to follow procedures and work in compliance-driven environments
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Willingness to learn safety regulations and standards
Preferred:
· Associate or bachelor’s degree in safety or related field
· OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
· Experience in aviation, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
