Job Overview
Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians to support heavy wiring and aircraft modification programs in Guntersville, Alabama. This 12-month contract to hire opportunity is ideal for technicians with extensive heavy modification experience and strong wiring backgrounds.
This role requires hands-on heavy wiring and modification experience. License is not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy wiring installations and system modifications
- Install, route, terminate, and secure wire bundles and electrical components
- Troubleshoot avionics and electrical system discrepancies
- Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Support aircraft modification and upgrade programs
- Document maintenance actions in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 6+ years of avionics experience – REQUIRED
- Heavy wiring and modification experience – REQUIRED
- Strong ability to read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams
- No license required
- AH-64-only avionics experience will NOT be considered
- Must provide personal tools
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $36/hr
- Per Diem: Up to $890/week (if eligible)
- 12-Month Contract to Hire
- Heavy wiring and modification environment
- Any aircraft platform accepted (excluding AH-64-only experience)
