NDT-Solutions is an FAA Repair Station looking to add a Quality Inspector in our Inspection Department. Job Duties
- Performing preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturer’s instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
- Ensuring that they are trained and thoroughly familiar with the inspection methods, techniques, aids, tools and equipment used within their assigned area of responsibility
- Maintaining proficiency in using the inspection aids in their assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment, including inspection aids, used to perform inspections are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is affixed
- Understanding the current specifications involving inspection tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer of the article(s) being inspected.
- Ensure all inspections are properly performed and recorded, and all records are properly executed before final approval for return to service of articles maintained or altered by this Repair Station
- Maintain the calibration policy and procedures
- Ensure that records of calibration are maintained current
- Ensure that procedures for shelf life are adequate and maintained current
- Creation of forms to support in-process repairs and inspections.
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate (read, write, speak) in English and be able to use/understand Technical Publications.
- Familiar with the applicable 14CFR 145 regulations and with the inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools used to determine the airworthiness
- Experience in Aviation Landing Gear and/or Wheel Repairs
- Proficient in using the various types of inspection equipment and visual inspection aids (e.g. micrometers, calipers, dial gages, borescope).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn and use other applications including Adobe Acrobat'
- A&P License preferred, but not required.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
