The Sales Coordinator is involved in all aspects of customer service, order fulfillment and general sales related task. Responsible for processing sales order and liaising between customers and Pankl to ensure high quality of customer service. Ability to manage expectations to support achieve department goals. Report status of various programs to Pankl’s Management team.
Skill Set & Required Qualifications:
- Project Management Certification preferred
- 5 to 7 years related experience in the aerospace machining industry preferred
- Prior project management experience or training, particularly in a process-controlled manufacturing operation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and diplomatic skills.
- Able to travel at least 20% to customers in other states and internationally
- Ability to work within strict production and manufacturing deadlines
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Experience in Analyzing Information, Data Maintenance, Reporting Skills, Research Skills, Judgment, Independence is preferred
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Basic knowledge of export compliance (ITAR/EAR) Export license experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, with fluent abilities to use Microsoft Office & ERP Systems. ABAS preferred.
- Fluent and effective in English written and verbal communications, bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels including managers, customers, and the public.
- Knowledge of Flight Safety Procedures desirable.

- Organize and manage sales processes (i.e. workflow, contract review, forecasting, etc.)
- Maintain document control, database management, track project activities and team communication.
- Assist in resolving scheduling problems by collecting and analyzing information, coordinating solutions
- Liaising with production to determine priorities
- Prepares draft reports, background documentation and research
- Assist with the execution of customer satisfaction survey, follow-up with customer.
- Responsible for the preparation, analysis & monitoring of Sales Forecasts
- Analyzing & Monitoring Customer Orders
- Analyzing & Monitoring Shipping Requirements
- Liaising with other departments
- Liaising with customer account managers to advise on problems or delays
- Liaising with customers, e.g. to discuss changes to the specification
- Preparing timely meeting notes from customer and conference travel
- Responsible for complying with company’s ITAR requirements
- Organize and support tradeshows
- Coordinate and manage various online customer websites
- Prepare and organize business travel as needed.
- Assist with special events planning
- Assist with export license application submittals
- Adhere to company’s budget according to PAS Management Standards.
- Willingness to support company training and cross functional efforts.
- Knowledge of legal requirements pertaining to customer and communication.
- Maintains production data base by entering data in the ERP / ABAS system
- Know and execute PAS Management system procedures
