Overview
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of aircraft systems and components. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of aviation mechanics. The Aircraft Mechanic will work closely with engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Duties
- Assemble and maintain aircraft components, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Utilize power tools and precision measuring instruments such as micrometers to perform repairs and adjustments.
- Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Repair and replace defective parts using welding techniques as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering teams using CAD software (such as CATIA) for design modifications and enhancements.
- Document all maintenance activities in accordance with AS9100 standards to maintain compliance.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proven experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with power tools, equipment repair, and vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using CAD software (CATIA preferred) for design applications is a plus.
- Experience with AS9100 quality management systems is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
