Rainbow Air is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Airframe and Power Plant Licensed Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be providing exceptional service and support for our current fleet of two new Airbus H130 T2's. No type experience is necessary but is a benefit.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Maintain airworthiness of Helicopters.
- Conduct inspections on helicopters as required by Manufacturers and FAA including all inspections.
- Complete FAA paperwork, maintenance log books, AD status, and special tool calibration schedule.
- Maintain specifications - Airbus H130 T2.
- Track airtime and cycles up and down on aircraft.
- Create Work Orders for Maintenance Task (parts on, off and work being done)
- Send out major components as per hours or calendar overhaul life.
- Keep aircraft cleaned. Maintain hangar facility.
- Responsible for adhering to General Health and Safety Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures. Our hangar is part of brand new state-of-the-art heliport facility with all of the most current amenities. We are a small, close-knit team who work together to resolve flight-line issues in a professional manner. We enjoy great support from our management team. This position is perfect for anyone looking for a more stable year-round work environment near plentiful amenities. All maintenance is conducted at our base with very little travel required.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Minimum 2 years work experience on helicopters and turbine engines.
- Factory courses specific to the aircraft or engines desirable but not required
- Successful Candidate will be trained as required for the operation.
- Valid US Passport and Drivers License.
Technical Skills:
- FAA Part 91 and 135 knowledge.
- Microsoft Word and Excel for inventory control.

Pay: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour
