Accounting Manager – Frazier Aviation

Position Summary
The Accounting Manager is a hands-on role that supports the CFO and overseeing all accounting operations across Frazier Aviation’s manufacturing and MRO businesses. You will lead monthly close, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and financial reporting—while helping shape scalable processes for a high‑growth, private equity–backed environment.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, cash disbursements, billing, general ledger, cost accounting, inventory accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close for both spares production and MRO operations.
- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements with clear variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirements, including tax and regulatory filings.
- Maintain strong internal controls and uphold GAAP, audit standards, and company policies.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support pricing, capital expenditures, inventory management, and operational decision‑making.
- Strengthen accounting systems, processes, and controls to support scale and data integrity.
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate accounting staff; promote cross‑training and professional development.
- Prepare bank reconciliations, payroll accruals, and journal entries.
- Support cash management activities and monitor daily cash flow.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies across accounts, transactions, and inventory‑related financial data.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
- Collaborate across departments and contribute to a respectful, team‑oriented culture.
- Participate in professional development, training, and industry‑related activities.
- Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic environment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA required (active or inactive).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting multi‑site or multi‑entity operations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control best practices.
- ERP implementation experience—NetSuite or similar strongly preferred.
- High accuracy, strong analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities; able to prioritize competing demands.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 and modern accounting systems.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
