Reporting to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and as a member of the US Logistics Team, this role is responsible for control and management of spare parts and activities within the TAE Aerospace Supply Chain / Logistics environment in accordance and compliance with all procedures & processes, systems and tools to enable service delivery excellence.
Description: ROLE OVERVIEW
To meet TAE Aerospace key performance indicators (KPl's) in the delivery of inventory management service to various programs within assigned area of responsibility.
Gaining and maintaining competencies in different Programs.
Ensure assigned materials/inventory/spares requirements (raw materials, BDS or consumables) are provided to Operations and Customers to meet internal and external KPPs
- Maintain the accuracy of inventory data in ERP systems, including data entry, stock transfers, updates and customer deliveries.
Assist in the generation and management of warehouse ERP systems related activities.
Provide a range of information on parts status reporting where necessary.
To ensure that assigned inventory stocks in ERP systems are maintained in a cost effective, timely and efficient manner, within contractual requirements and within company and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for monitoring the technical aspects of all work performed ensuring compliance with all relevant Aviation Regulations and Company requirements.
Identify areas for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness to reduce the cost base across the business operations to make a meaningful contribution to continuous improvement initiatives within TAE.
- To provide inventory management and logistics/warehousing services to various programs inclusive of stock/inventory transactions and the optimization of stock levels through generic warehousing activities and use of mandated ERP systems.
Co-ordinating and maintaining Aerospace part kits/Kitting/BOM in support of maintenance and production schedule.
Provide a range of information on parts status, reporting where necessary.
- To ensure all ITAR and security regulatory requirements are adhered to.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable business and customer specific legislative/regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experiences: QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Logistics/Warehouse
- Medium level skill in Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office suite
