JET Infrastructure is a fast-growing leader in aviation fuel infrastructure, delivering safe, reliable, and innovative solutions that keep critical operations moving. Our team thrives on accountability, collaboration, and a commitment to operational excellence. As we expand, we’re looking for a Staff Accountant who is eager to grow, take ownership, and make an impact across a dynamic business.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a versatile Staff Accountant with a strong foundation in fixed asset accounting and project accounting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being a generalist—comfortable jumping into a variety of accounting tasks—while also serving as the go‑to resource for capital project tracking, asset lifecycle management, and related reporting.
You’ll work closely with operations, project managers, and senior finance leadership to ensure accurate financials, timely reporting, and smooth accounting processes as the company scales.

- Review project costs to determine proper classification between capital and expense.
- Monitor asset lifecycle activity and ensure compliance with company capitalization policies.
- Prepare monthly depreciation entries and related schedules.
- Support annual fixed asset inventory and audit requests.
Project Accounting
- Track capital project spend, budgets, and progress in coordination with project managers.
- Review vendor invoices, purchase orders, and change orders for proper coding and alignment with project budgets.
- Prepare monthly project cost reports and variance analyses.
- Assist in forecasting project cash flows and spend timelines.
- Ensure project closeout procedures are followed and assets are placed in service timely.
General Accounting & Support
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and purchase order accruals.
- Support accounts payable coding and review for capital and operating expenditures.
- Contribute to process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures.
- Provide support for annual audits, tax filings, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally in industries with significant capital projects (construction, energy, utilities, infrastructure, aviation, etc.).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, fixed asset accounting, and project cost tracking.
- Proficiency with accounting systems (NetSuite ERP experience preferred) and Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working cross‑functionally.
- A proactive mindset—someone who takes ownership and enjoys improving processes.
