Aircraft Maintenance Instructor, US Aviation Academy
Location – Blaine, Minnesota (ANE).
Full Time 7:00 am – 4:00 Mon-Fri or 1 - 11 pm Mon - Thursday (evening shift)
US Aviation Academy is a FAA Part 147 Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic school with facilities in Texas, Georgia and Blaine, Minnesota. As one of our instructors, you will be shaping the next generation of A&Ps that the industry so desperately needs in a growing and unique school setting.
Job requirements
- A&P Certification current and valid or equivalent experience
- 3 Years of recent aircraft maintenance experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and etc.
- Be able to pass a background check
- Be able to follow school and FAA part 147 procedures and regulations
- Punctuality
- Instruct students with varying backgrounds and ages
- Instruct and control classes of up to 25 students in a shop/lab, hangar, airport and classroom environment
- Prepare and demonstrate proper aviation tool usage and safety practices
- May require work outside of normal hours and a flexible schedule
- Be able to lift 50 pounds, work in and around aircraft in various positions

- Instructing experience
- Advanced sheet metal experience
- Advanced composite experience
- Advanced avionics/electrical experience
- Turbine experience
- IA certification

Salary: $85,000 - $93,000
