Project Manager (Contract)

Summary:
This position offers an opportunity to serve as a critical bridge between technical teams and business operations, ensuring seamless adoption and support of self-serve capabilities. The successful candidate will coordinate readiness initiatives for new technical capabilities, manage user acceptance testing processes, and provide essential troubleshooting support while maintaining comprehensive documentation. This role requires someone who thrives at the intersection of process, tooling, and operations, partnering closely with engineering, operations, and support teams to keep adoption efforts unblocked and ensure documentation accurately reflects real-world usage. The position demands a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage technical dependencies, track release impacts, and coordinate handoffs between multiple tools and teams while supporting ongoing readiness as capabilities evolve.
Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate readiness activities for new capabilities, including prerequisites, access requirements, and workflow changes

Track technical dependencies, release impacts, and handoffs between tools and teams

Develop and maintain user acceptance testing plans, test scripts, and success criteria

Coordinate testers, manage defect intake, and track issues through resolution

Serve as first-line triage for technical issues by reproducing problems, collecting evidence, and routing to appropriate owners

Track issues to closure and identify recurring patterns or root causes

Maintain comprehensive documentation including how-to guides, known issues, and scope scenarios

Translate release notes into practical guidance for stakeholders

Support the establishment of durable support mechanisms such as FAQs, knowledge management hub updates, and office hours intake

Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to stakeholders

Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are utilized

Manage project resources, timelines, and scope throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements:

2-4 years of technical project management experience supporting tooling or platform rollouts

Hands-on experience working directly with engineering teams and business leads
-
Demonstrated involvement in user acceptance testing planning, defect tracking, and release coordination

Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in multi-platform systems environments

Exposure to dobe Experience Manager, Adobe Workfront, Marketo, or email delivery systems such as ACS is highly desired

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field

PMP or PMI certification preferred

Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft M365 suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel

Strong experience with Azure DevOps and Loop

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities

Strong documentation and technical writing capabilities

Excellent communication skills for partnering with engineering teams and business leads

Ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications

Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and work effectively with partners at different levels

Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in exercising judgment within changing environments

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities

Pay Range*: $47.50 - $54 per hour
