Job Overview

Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians to support OEM, completions, and assembly operations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.

This role is ideal for technicians with strong experience in rotary-wing or OEM environments, particularly those skilled in wire bundle assembly, installation, and modification.

Responsibilities

Assemble, modify, and install wire bundles, conductors, and electrical components
Perform avionics installations and system integrations during completions and assembly
Route, secure, and terminate wiring harnesses to specification
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and avionics systems
Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
Conduct system checks and ensure proper functionality
Ensure all work meets OEM, safety, and quality standards
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of avionics experience – REQUIRED
Experience in OEM, completions, or aircraft assembly environments – REQUIRED
Strong experience with wiring, harness installation, and modifications – REQUIRED
Experience on rotary-wing aircraft or OEM platforms – PREFERRED
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must pass background check and drug screening

Compensation & Details

Pay: $28.00 – $40.00/hr (based on experience)
Up to $1,520/week (max) must qualify
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Platform: Rotary or OEM Aircraft
Shifts: 1st and 2nd shift openings available
Interview Process: Phone or Virtual (some onsite may be required)
Tools: No personal tools required
