Job Overview
Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Senior Maintenance Controllers to support heavy maintenance operations in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a 4-month contract-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and weekly per diem.
This role is ideal for mechanics with strong experience on Boeing 747 and other Boeing platforms, looking to transition into or expand within a maintenance control environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee aircraft maintenance operations from a maintenance control perspective
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams
- Monitor aircraft status, discrepancies, and return-to-service timelines
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Communicate with maintenance crews, engineering, and operations teams
- Ensure compliance with FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Track and document maintenance activities and aircraft status
Qualifications
- Active A&P License – REQUIRED
- Minimum 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience – REQUIRED
- Strong experience on one or more of the following Boeing aircraft:
- Boeing 737
- Boeing 747
- Boeing 767
- Boeing 777
- Maintenance Controller experience NOT required
- (However, 2+ years of maintenance control experience may substitute for Boeing experience)
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $40.00/hr
- Per Diem:
- Up to $1,120/week (must qualify)
- Contract Type: 4-Month Contract-to-Hire
- Platform: Boeing Aircraft (747 / 737 / 767 / 777)
- Location: Cincinnati, OH
- Interview Process: Teams or Phone Interview
- Response Time: 24–72 hours
