Global Turbine Services (GTS) is an FAA/EASA/CAA/NATO-certified engine MRO specializing in CFM56-2/3/5/7, CF6-50/80, and additional commercial and military turbine platforms.
Operating from our state-of-the-art engine repair and overhaul facility in Miami, GTS provides full engine repair, module overhaul, component repair, and advanced special process support to global airlines, lessors, defense customers, OEMs, and Tier 1 integrators.
As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a highly driven Planner / Scheduler to help strengthen our production planning, revenue forecasting, and operational execution capabilities.
The Planner / Scheduler (Revenue Focused) is a mission-critical role responsible for managing production schedules, driving revenue targets, improving turnaround times, and ensuring accurate customer delivery commitments.

Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule for engines, modules, LRUs, and component repairs
- Prioritize work orders based on customer commitments, revenue impact, TAT goals, and material availability
- Maintain accurate Estimated Delivery Dates (EDDs) within Quantum/ERP systems
- Coordinate daily and weekly production plans with:
- Engine Lines
- Module Shops
- Machining
- Plasma
- Cleaning
- Inspection
- Assembly
- Communicate schedule priorities clearly across all departments
Revenue Management & Forecasting
- Build rolling 30/60/90-day revenue forecasts
- Identify and prioritize revenue-critical work orders
- Support Finance with shipment projections for cash flow planning
- Track revenue performance against forecast targets
- Report revenue gaps and recovery plans daily/weekly
Roadblock Removal & Expediting
- Lead daily production and roadblock meetings
- Identify and resolve issues affecting schedule adherence, including:
- Parts shortages
- Tooling delays
- QC holds
- Engineering reviews
- Outside Service delays
- Labor or capacity constraints
- Unplanned rework
- Escalate critical blockers to management with actionable solutions
Customer Delivery Support
- Ensure Customer Service has accurate EDDs for all active work scopes
- Support weekly customer status reporting
- Communicate proactively regarding delays, risks, and early completion opportunities
- Coordinate support for AOG, lease returns, hot sections, and contract commitments
Workflow & Process Improvement
- Identify bottlenecks and cycle time inefficiencies
- Support Lean initiatives and workflow optimization
- Improve visibility to WIP, aging, and resource loading
- Assist with planning for second shift, outsourcing, or temporary labor support when needed
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or operations coordination within aviation, MRO, or engine repair
- Strong understanding of turbine engine workflows, preferably CFM56 and CF6 platforms
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Quantum preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, forecasting, and data analysis
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Experience in a Part 145 MRO environment
- Familiarity with Outside Services workflows
- Understanding of FAA compliance related to production sequencing
- Background in engine teardown, module repair, or component repair operations
Pay: $32.00 per hour
