JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Coordinator (OC) plays a critical role in supporting daily operations, requiring multitasking across planning, coordination, communication, documentation, compliance, and financial/logistical tracking—all in a fast-paced, mission-driven aviation environment. This position works closely with internal operations teams, airline partners, subcontractors, and customers.
ESSENTIAL TASKS / FUNCTIONS:
As an OC, responsibilities may include (based on role alignment and experience):
Flight Operations Support
- Assist with planning, coordination, and execution of daily flights
- Monitor mission progress and ensure on-time operations
Communication & Coordination
- Maintain timely and accurate communication with all operational stakeholders
- Analyze and disseminate information clearly between customers and subcontractors to avoid missteps or delays
Documentation & Data Management
- Prepare and maintain flight documentation (e.g., manifests, crew positioning requests, aircraft availability reports)
- Input and track operational data (flight logs, ground handling, etc.)
Compliance & Standards
- Support adherence to CSI (company-specific or aviation) standards
- Ensure operational activities follow policies and procedures
General Operational Support
- Provide backup and continuity during high-pressure or evolving operational scenarios.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements:
Experience:
- Min 2+ years’ experience in aviation operations, logistics, or mission support environments
Background:
- Strong organizational skills with ability to analyze operational data and logistical metrics
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High situational awareness and ability to prioritize in real time
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, operations-driven environment
- Comfort working with operational data
- Ability to remain composed and effective in high-tempo or evolving operational scenarios
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office spreadsheets
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with airline operations, flight tracking, or ground handling coordination
- Experience working with invoices, operational reporting, or compliance documentation
