JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Aerospace Repair Technician to join our maintenance team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning a career in aerospace maintenance and repair. The technician will assist in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft components in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with inspection, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components and assemblies
- Perform basic mechanical repairs under supervision
- Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, manuals, and technical documentation
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and correctly
- Document work performed in maintenance records and repair logs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Support senior technicians and supervisors as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic mechanical aptitude or technical training
- Ability to read technical documents and follow procedures
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred (Not Required):
- Enrollment in or completion of an A&P or aerospace technical program
- Prior hands-on experience (internship, school lab, military, or automotive/mechanical work)
- Familiarity with FAA regulations or aerospace quality systems
