LEAD A&P MECHANIC
Aircraft Disassembly & Engine Operations

Pay Range: $70-$85 thousand, depending on experience, with performance-based bonus opportunities.

Overview
This fast-paced, rapidly growing company with locations in Oklahoma City, OK and Marion, IA is seeking a Lead A&P Mechanic for its Oklahoma City operations to support aircraft disassembly projects, engine removals and installations, and daily shop activities. This individual will work alongside technicians while providing direction, oversight, and technical leadership on active projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead aircraft disassembly projects from induction through completion.
- Perform and oversee engine removals and installations.
- Coordinate daily workflow for mechanics and technicians.
- Inspect, document, and evaluate aircraft, engines, and components.
- Ensure proper handling, preservation, and packaging of removed assets.
- Maintain accurate documentation throughout the disassembly process.
- Work closely with inventory, purchasing, operations, and sales teams.
- Train and mentor team members.
- Promote a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Minimum 5 years of business jet experience.
- Experience performing engine removals and installations.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and aircraft documentation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Experience
- Lead Mechanic, Crew Chief, or Shop Lead experience.
- Dassault Falcon, Bombardier Challenger, Bombardier Global, or Learjet experience.
- Honeywell TFE731, HTF7000, or Rolls-Royce BR710 engine experience.
- Aircraft acquisition, inspection, or asset evaluation experience.

The company also provides a $50,000 employer-paid basic term life insurance policy, with additional voluntary coverage available at the employee’s expense.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
