A growing FAA Part 145 Repair Station with facilities in Chino, California and at Brackett Airport is seeking motivated and quality-driven individuals looking to expand their expertise in all aspects of aircraft maintenance, airframe repairs, avionics installations, and modifications. We work on a diverse range of aircraft, including general aviation, warbirds, and corporate aircraft.
As we continue to grow and expand our operations with our new facility at Brackett Airport, we are looking for team-oriented professionals with experience in avionics wiring, installation, and aircraft maintenance. Candidates who are self-starters, organized, and eager to learn will thrive in our fast-paced environment. Military aviation experience is highly valued and given preference.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations in accordance with approved procedures.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Research and identify replacement parts using Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC).
- Read and comprehend aircraft maintenance manuals and perform maintenance as specified.
- Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including work orders, job packets, and aircraft logbook entries.
- Assist with avionics wiring, troubleshooting, and system installations.
- Support light fabrication and design projects as needed.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Qualifications Required
- General aviation maintenance and inspection experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience using basic hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and maintenance instructions.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must provide own basic hand tools.
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Chino, CA or the Brackett Airport area before employment begins.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for international workers.
Prefered
- 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience.
- 2+ years of avionics installation and wiring experience.
- 2+ years of airframe experience.
- 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting schematics.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
- Military aviation maintenance background.
- Light fabrication and design experience.
