Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting processes. As a key member of our management team, you will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee construction project financials, including cost tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports for executive review and stakeholder communication.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with project managers to monitor project costs, review contracts, and support project estimating efforts.
- Implement and maintain construction management software systems such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and other relevant tools for project scheduling and cost control.
- Conduct regular audits of financial data related to construction projects and site operations to ensure integrity and transparency.
Skills
- Proven experience with construction estimating, project management, and construction site operations.
- Strong proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and schematics reading.
- Expertise in contract review, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation within a construction context.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Deep understanding of construction project scheduling and coordination processes.
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and field operations is a plus.
