Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Manager to oversee operations across our Quincy to Brockton and Wareham service areas. This role is responsible for Coverage of routes, training, quality control, conducting interviews and ensuring efficient delivery operations, maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Supervise drivers, training, and performance management
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality meal deliveries
- Monitor route efficiency and implement improvements.
Staffing & Coverage
- Cover service areas and manage callouts
- Provide backup driving support when drivers are unavailable
- Ensure all routes are covered daily without service disruption
- Interview candidates
- Admirative tasks
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable Massachusetts regulations
- Quality control
- Prepare reports for leadership as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of operations, logistics, or delivery management experience (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to problem-solve in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record + use of personal vehicle
- Comfortable driving delivery routes as needed
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry meal delivery items (up to ~30 lbs)
- Ability to drive for extended periods when needed
- Willingness to travel regularly between Brockton and Wareham

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
