Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, modify, install, and test aircraft avionics systems
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and maintenance manuals
- Perform operational testing using avionics test equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and avionics discrepancies
- Fabricate and install aircraft wiring, wire bundles, harnesses, and connectors
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately
- Maintain tools and work area while following safety procedures
- Communicate project status with supervisors and team members
Requirements
- Recent commercial or military aircraft avionics experience
- Experience troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems
- Ability to read aircraft wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Experience using avionics test equipment
- Knowledge of standard aircraft wiring practices
- Reliable transportation
