Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Aerospace Program Manager to lead complex aerospace initiatives from conception through successful delivery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale projects, and drive innovation within the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program development, project management methodologies, and technical leadership, ensuring all projects meet quality standards, budget constraints, and schedule requirements.
Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of aerospace programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop comprehensive program plans, timelines and other project management methodologies to optimize project delivery.
- Plan for project resources with cross-functional teams to define scope, technical specifications, and matierals.
- Oversee project scheduling, cost control, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery within budget.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts to secure necessary resources and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Promote continuous improvement that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Lead team management efforts including supervising project teams, fostering collaboration, and facilitating productive meetings.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years experience in managing large-scale aerospace or engineering programs.
- Aerospace / Aviation experience.
- Project Management experience
- Strong background in program design, process management, and risk management.
- Supervising experience leading diverse teams across multiple disciplines with excellent organizational skills.
- Skilled in requirements gathering and management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and present complex technical information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
