Position Summary
We are seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be essential in coordinating our roadside assistance operations and supporting billing activities, ensuring timely service to our clients and accurate invoicing. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask are critical to maintaining efficient communication between our technicians, customers, and office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule roadside assistance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Dispatch technicians based on location, availability, and service urgency.
- Communicate with clients to provide real‑time updates on service status and estimated arrival times.
- Accurately generate and process invoices for completed services in accordance with company procedures.
- Verify service details, rates, and customer information to ensure accurate billing.
- Track, log, and maintain records of service calls, technician assignments, and billing for reporting and audit purposes.
- Manage organized digital and paper filing systems for dispatch and billing records.
- Collaborate with technicians, management, and customers to resolve scheduling or billing issues.
- Use dispatching, billing, and spreadsheet software to enter and manage data.
- Follow company policies and safety procedures applicable to the office and shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in dispatching, billing, or administrative coordination (roadside assistance, transportation, logistics, or automotive/truck repair industry preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with computers and common office software, including Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with billing and/or dispatch platforms.
- Ability to learn and follow established procedures for dispatch and billing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a commercial truck, trailer, towing, or roadside service setting.
- Experience using dispatch software and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Basic understanding of service codes, labor rates, and related billing concepts.
Work Schedule
- Full‑time position. Typical schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Occasional overtime work may be required based on business needs.
Work Environment Disclosure
This position is based on‑site within an active and fast‑paced commercial truck and trailer repair shop. The workspace is shared with or adjacent to the shop floor, and regular exposure to the following is part of the daily environment:
- Diesel fumes and exhaust
- Grease, oil, and dirt
- Shop noise (including power tools, air compressors, engines, and other equipment)
- Moving vehicles and equipment in and around the facility
Appropriate safety practices and personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided in accordance with company policy and applicable safety regulations. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions as an essential requirement of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, consistent with applicable law.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain seated or standing at a workstation for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally walk through the shop environment to communicate with technicians or access records.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry office materials or files (generally up to 20 pounds).

Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation:$20.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
