Northwest Helicopters Is Hiring a Contract Cessna 206 Pilot
Northwest Helicopters is seeking a qualified, safety-minded commercial pilot to operate our Cessna 206 in Washington State out of KOLM. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, strong decision-making skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe and efficient flight operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Instrument Rating
- Minimum of 500 total flight hours
- Current FAA Second-Class Medical Certificate
- Current and proficient under FAA requirements
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Cessna 206 experience
- Strong single-engine aircraft experience
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and professionally
- Flexibility to accommodate changing flight schedules and operational needs
Position Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the Cessna 206 in accordance with FAA regulations and company procedures, doing crew swaps and flying part to AOG aircraft.
- Complete flight planning and preflight and post-flight inspections
- Monitor weather conditions and make sound operational decisions
- Maintain accurate flight logs and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with company personnel and customers
- Keep the aircraft clean, fueled and ready to go on a moments notice
