This position is responsible for all departmental payroll activities, ensuring accurate pay, consistency and integrity of the payroll process by adhering to all County payroll policies, procedures, rules and guidelines, and stipulations of the applicable collective bargaining agreements. Responsible for managing multiple aspects of County benefits to include group insurance, flex benefits, and retirement. Developing and administering policies and procedures as they apply to the areas of responsibility; conducting audits to ensure processes are handled by all divisions in accordance with the established policies and procedures, and provide guidance to management and staff at large on Personnel Policies and Administrative Orders.
