Advance Finish Corp is seeking a Finish Technician to join our team specializing in private jet interior refurbishment and finishing. This position focuses on restoring and applying high-quality finishes to aircraft interior components such as cabinetry, panels, and trim.
The ideal candidate has experience working with laminates, veneers, paints, and coatings, and understands the level of precision required for aviation interiors.
Responsibilities
- Apply, repair, and restore aircraft interior finishes including laminates, veneers, paints, and specialty coatings
- Prep, polish, and spray aircraft interior components to achieve a high-quality finish
- Perform surface preparation, including sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming
- Repair damaged finishes on interior components such as cabinets, sidewalls, tables, and trim
- Match existing finishes and maintain consistency with aircraft interior standards
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality and appearance standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
- Work closely with technicians and supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Experience with spray finishing, polishing, and surface preparation
- Familiarity with veneers, laminates, paints, clear coats, and surface coatings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-end cosmetic finishes
- Ability to follow technical instructions and shop procedures
- Experience working with aircraft interiors, cabinetry, woodworking, or automotive finishing is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to work with finishing equipment, sanding tools, and spray systems
