Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform all assigned maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks in accordance with applicable maintenance manuals and the Repair Station Quality Manual (RSQM)
- Ensure maintenance operations are completed in the correct sequence, and inspections are requested in an orderly and timely manner
- Verify that all tools and test equipment used for airworthiness determinations are correctly labeled and RSQM-compliant
- Adhere to SkyOne Aerospace’s DOT Drug & Alcohol Policy and company safety procedures
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues based on customer input and technical documentation
- Disassemble, inspect, and test aircraft components in accordance with applicable technical manuals
- Reassemble and perform final testing of aircraft components to ensure compliance with FAA and manufacturer specifications
- Accurately document all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and related records
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with regulatory and company safety standards
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Verbal and written proficiency in English
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Solid understanding of FAA maintenance regulations
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service bulletins
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the repair and overhaul of aircraft propeller components
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in aviation maintenance; MRO experience is a plus
- FAA-issued Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate (Not Required)
- Proficient in safety wire
Working Conditions
- Exposure to noise, moving mechanical parts, and hazardous materials in a typical aviation maintenance environment
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 80 pounds
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
- Subject to pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Participation in DOT-regulated random drug and alcohol testing is required
Pay & Benefits
- Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour
