Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced Avionics Technicians to support aircraft electrical and avionics operations in Melbourne, Florida. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and long-term career growth.
This role is ideal for technicians with experience in business/corporate aviation and strong troubleshooting skills in heavy maintenance environments.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot aircraft electrical and avionics systems using wiring diagrams and manufacturer manuals
- Install, modify, and repair avionics systems and components
- Perform wiring harness installation, routing, and termination
- Diagnose system faults and perform corrective actions
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and installation manuals
- Support aircraft modifications and upgrades
- Conduct system checks and ensure proper functionality
- Maintain compliance with FAA, safety, and quality standards
- Accurately document all work performed
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of avionics experience – REQUIRED
- Experience in business/corporate aircraft – PREFERRED
- Strong troubleshooting experience using wiring diagrams and OEM manuals – REQUIRED
- Experience in heavy maintenance environments – REQUIRED
- Ability to install, modify, and repair avionics systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $30.00 – $45.00/hr (based on experience)
