Engine Repair Coordinator (Aviation / MRO)
Location: Doral, FL
Compensation: $60K – $65K base + full benefits
Overview
We are representing a global aviation inventory and MRO support company seeking an Engine Repair Coordinator to manage repair orders, vendor relationships, and internal coordination.
This is a high-visibility, detail-driven role focused on keeping repair workflows moving, reducing cost, and ensuring on-time delivery of engine components.
What You’ll Be Doing
Repair Order Management
- Create, track, and manage engine repair orders (ROs)
- Monitor timelines, ETAs, and ensure on-time completion
Vendor Coordination
- Work closely with repair vendors to manage open orders
- Follow up on status updates, discrepancies, and delays
- Build strong vendor relationships
Cost Analysis & Negotiation
- Review and analyze repair quotes
- Negotiate costs to reduce BER (Beyond Economic Repair) outcomes
- Optimize parts usage and sourcing strategies
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with:
- Sales (order commitments / drop shipments)
- Receiving (QC hold issues)
- Accounts Payable (invoice questions)
- Ensure smooth communication across departments
Reporting & KPIs
- Generate and track repair order reports
- Meet and exceed KPI targets around cost, turnaround, and accuracy
What You Need
- 3+ years aviation / MRO experience (REQUIRED)
- Experience working with engine material (CF34, Pratt & Whitney preferred)
- Strong vendor/customer communication experience
- Familiarity with:
- IPCs, Service Bulletins, 8130s, traceability
- Strong organizational and multitasking ability

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
