Engine Repair Coordinator – Aviation Industry

Pay Range: $60,000+ Depending on Experience

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engine Repair Coordinator to support the repair process for aviation engine materials within a high-volume aviation environment. This role is responsible for managing repair orders, coordinating with vendors, reviewing repair quotes, negotiating pricing, and ensuring timely turnaround of repaired inventory.
This is a detail-oriented and highly collaborative role requiring strong aviation knowledge, vendor communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage repair orders from initiation through completion
- Communicate with repair vendors regarding order status, ETAs, and open repair activity
- Review and analyze repair quotes to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Negotiate vendor pricing, including BER (Beyond Economic Repair) situations
- Allocate available piece parts from inventory to reduce repair costs
- Support sales orders tied to open repairs and coordinate drop shipments as needed
- Assist with invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and QC hold resolutions
- Maintain accurate reporting and support KPI tracking
- Collaborate cross-functionally with repair, logistics, purchasing, and sales teams
- Ensure timely turnaround and visibility of repair inventory
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of aviation MRO experience required
- 3–5 years working with engine materials required
- Strong understanding of aviation repair processes and engine material operations
- Familiarity with MRO terminology, IPCs, service bulletins, 8130s, and trace documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask within a fast-paced operational environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Preferred Qualifications
- CF34 and Pratt & Whitney engine experience preferred
- Experience supporting airline, MRO, OEM, or engine repair environments
- Experience coordinating with domestic and international repair vendors
- Experience reviewing repair quotes and vendor negotiations
- Experience supporting inventory allocation and material planning activities
