Summary
Rated Crew Member (AH64E Instructor Pilot) is responsible for monitoring the aircraft systems, diagnosing and eliminating any problems that may arise, and ensuring that all maintenance faults have been recorded and properly corrected. These duties will be performed day and night as well as under VMC and IMC.
This position supports the Army Advanced Helicopter Flight Training program conducted at Fort Rucker, Alabama, and includes both US Army students as well as a contingent of multinational students

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Able to maintain the current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) third-class Medical Certificate or, if a member of the National Guard or Reserves, an Army 2992 FFD.
Language Skills
Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex aviation words and technical documents/diagrams.
Mathematical Skills
Must be able to calculate figures and amounts, percentages, and draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. An ability to interpret students’ requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is essential.
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for the proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Work Environment
Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises consistent with an aviation facility, to include flight line operations
