As a Golf Course Grounds Crew member, you will be responsible for landscape maintenance, ensuring the course remains inviting, safe, and visually stunning for players and visitors alike. Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course by performing landscaping tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming using hand tools and power tools
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to promote healthy turf and plant growth
- Conduct routine lawn care activities including fertilization, aeration, and pest management to keep the course lush and healthy
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment including mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members on landscaping projects and emergency repairs to uphold high standards of course quality
Skills
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and irrigation systems
- Experience with lawn care practices such as fertilizing, aerating, and pest control
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
