Lone Star Aviation is currently looking for an individual to manage our purchasing department as well as help manage projects and new products. Our company's innovative product lines are manufactured for airborne, rotor, VeTOL, drone, military and OEM's, sun contractors, airlines, commuters, domestic and international customers.
This individual will be trained to work in our purchasing department to order and manage parts for the products we manufacturer as well as help staff manage projects. If you have the education, experience, have positive attitude, enthusiasm and can hit the ground running we need to talk. Work days and hours are M-F, 8-5, with general holidays off.
Skills and Responsibilities:
1. Computer Office Suite for word, outlook- email, phone experience and attention to detail very important. Company will train the individual if you have most of these qualifications.
2. Email vendors for parts, pricing, lead times, specifications with special emphasis for written and verbal communication skills to our vendors, customers and staff.
3. Attention to details is a must to read part numbers and descriptions for assemblies, BOM's, product files, drawings, Technical data sheets, scheduled orders and other documents.
4. Work with our office administration to help with technical issues for orders being packaged for shipping by UPS, Fedx, DHL.
5. Company will train individual on purchasing software to manage parts, BOM's, assemblies, vendors, part numbers, inventory, low parts reports, etc.
6. Individual will be trained by staff to run office, projects and technical assistance to staff.
7. Company is in position to pay quarterly bonuses for highly motivated individuals.
