Key Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test avionics and electronic components.
· Perform functional testing using approved test equipment and procedures.
· Interpret CMMs, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
· Perform soldering, component replacement, and circuit board repair as required.
· Complete work in compliance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and quality standards.
· Accurately complete work orders, inspection documentation, and repair records.
· Identify discrepancies and communicate findings to supervisors or engineering.
· Maintain proper handling of ESD-sensitive components.
· Ensure proper care and calibration of test equipment.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with FOD and safety procedures.
· Support continuous improvement and production efficiency initiatives.
Required Qualifications
· Experience working with avionics systems, electronic assemblies, or aircraft components.
· Associate's degree or certification in Avionics Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
· Experience with electronic troubleshooting and testing equipment.
· Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
· Basic computer skills for documentation and work order tracking.
· Strong communication skills for documenting work and interacting with team members.
· Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings or weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
· Knowledge of CMM procedures and aviation regulatory requirements.
· IPC solder certification or equivalent electronics repair experience.
· Experience with avionics test benches or automated test equipment.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
· Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
· Good manual dexterity for precision electronic work.
· Ability to work with small components and fine wiring.
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
