Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronic Bench Technician specializing in Avionics to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex electronic systems used in aircraft and aviation equipment.
This position is for a hands-on electronics technician to support the repair and overhaul of aircraft avionics and instrument components.
This role is bench-level electronics work, not aircraft installation. Candidates must be comfortable troubleshooting electronic assemblies, soldering components, and working with electrical test equipment.
Applicants without real electronics repair or assembly experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Technicians in this position will:
· Diagnose faults in avionics and instrument components using schematics and electrical testing equipment
· Perform PCB inspection and circuit-level troubleshooting
· Solder and replace electronic components (resistors, capacitors, connectors, ICs)
· Use multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes to isolate electrical faults
· Assemble and repair wiring harnesses and electrical connectors
· Perform functional testing of avionics units after repair
· Document repair findings and corrective actions
Required Technical Skills
Applicants must have hands-on experience with several of the following:
· PCB assembly or circuit board repair
· Electronics troubleshooting using a multimeter or oscilloscope
· Soldering electronic components (through-hole or surface mount)
· Wiring harness assembly or connector pinning
· Reading electrical schematics or wiring diagrams
· Bench repair of electronic devices
Preferred Background

A&P license is not required for this position.
Tools You Should Already Know
Applicants should be comfortable using:
· multimeter
· soldering station
· wire crimping tools
· bench power supplies
· basic electronic testing equipment
What This Job Is NOT
This role does NOT involve aircraft installation work such as installing avionics into aircraft panels.
This position focuses on electronics repair and troubleshooting of avionics components at the bench level.
