SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL FOR EVENING SHIFTS.
The ramp agent is responsible for all of the below wing operations of various air carriers. The work environment is fast paced and team based. Working conditions are outside, in the ramp area of the airport where you can expect to encounter the elements of working outdoors. It is a physically demanding position, requiring regular and continuous lifting up to 25lbs, as well as operating different equipment/vehicles on a regular basis. There is an emphasis on strict adherence to airport ramp and safety procedures. (No experience required. Paid on the job training.)
- Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with all team members and customers
- Operate equipment and service the aircraft according to the company’s safety standards
- Marshaling aircraft in and out of gate areas
- Work in the warehouse, organizing and accurately sending incoming and outgoing cargo to the correct aircraft or arriving cargo.
- Operate various ramp equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, ground power units (GPU), air-conditioning (AC) units, push back tractors, container loaders, and lavatory carts or trucks
- Other duties as assigned (may include work in different departments under special circumstances).
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract
- Flexible schedule including weekends and/or holidays preferred
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must clear a Pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to obtain an AOA Badge and other airport requirements
- Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
