Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing Aviation workplace environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of human resources operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. Your leadership will drive organizational growth by aligning HR strategies with business objectives, ensuring our team members are supported, engaged, and empowered to succeed.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational goals and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Overseeing onboarding processes.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act).
- Ensure compliance with employment and labor laws such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations and other relevant legal requirements.
- Handle employee relations issues through effective conflict management and negotiation skills while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate payroll processing using Paychex System while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
- Lead change management projects to improve HR processes, organizational design, and overall human capital management strategies.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA regulations, FMLA policies, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead HR teams effectively.
- Expertise in performance management systems, employee evaluation techniques, and HR program management.
- Excellent communication skills for employee engagement initiatives, and senior leadership collaboration.
- Strategic planning capabilities combined with process improvement expertise to optimize HR workflows.
- Familiarity with Paychex payroll system for accurate compensation administration.
