KaiserAir is advertising an immediate opening for a full-time Technical Document Coordinator at its .
Under the supervision of the Chief Inspector, the Technical Document Coordinator will be responsible for managing the Technical Library, assisting in A/C Mx Planning, Record Keeping and providing administrative support to Mx Department personnel.
Reports to the Chief Inspector
Duties include but are not limited to:
Technical Library
- Responsible for all Mx and Flight Ops (excluding Jeppesen) Technical Manuals
- Researching manual availability / pricing / revision accuracy and obtaining necessary manuals needed for dept.
- Receiving and updating all Mfg. Tech manuals (hard copy, microfiche and online)
- Review / Process invoices for subscription renewals
- Maintain cost spreadsheet to ensure no duplicating of manuals and or payments.
- Review / Order hardware / software for running publications
- Update revisions authored by Flight Operations i.e. Ops Manual, W&B, MEL etc.
- Maintain a revision list of all manuals
- Administrator for mx dept computer tracking systems and all vendor/mfg. websites used for accessing mx publications.
- Train Mx department on computer tracking systems and vendor/mfg. websites.
- Provide ongoing support to mx personnel with the use of all mx dept software including
- Troubleshooting issues with computers / software / hardware
- Maintain Schematics for all aircraft

Maintain Training Database
Master Training Modules
Assist Department as needed
Assist Chief Inspector with special projects as needed
The Technical Document Coordinator will have the following responsibilities: managing and maintaining the technical publications library; performing data updates; maintaining subscriptions; maintaining a file of pertinent Federal Aviation Regulations, type certificate data sheets, and airworthiness directives; ensuring that complete technical data are available and maintained in a current condition on all units repaired, overhauled or installed; updating and filing of aircraft records; administrator for maintenance tracking software; performing maintenance project updates; generating due lists; creating work packages and updating tracking systems; attain and distribute planning schedule; assist with training – maintaining files and updating systems; assisting the VP of maintenance, manager of maintenance, and chief inspector with special projects; and other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Aviation industry related experience preferred
- Personal contact skills
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, squat, twist and be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
- Working member of the team – will work when needed
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to manage time, multi-task, prioritize work and adapt to change
- Self-starter with ability to think and work independently
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work accurately
- Aviation maintenance experience preferred
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
