Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory to ensure timely delivery of essential MRO supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure MRO materials, tools, and supplies.
- Evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate pricing, and establish vendor relationships.
- Manage purchase orders, track delivery schedules, and address any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Analyze inventory needs and forecast future purchasing requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Utilize Excel and Microsoft Office Suite to manage data, generate reports, and support decision-making processes.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Familiarity with MRO products and industry practices.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
