Veterans Alliance is hiring experienced TIG Welders to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Torrance, California. This is a direct hire opportunity offering competitive hourly pay and a fast hiring process.
⚠️ This role is strictly TIG welding only — no MIG welding.
This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on TIG experience working with aluminum, steel, and stainless steel in a precision manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum, steel, and stainless-steel components
- Weld materials in all positions, including thin gauge aerospace components
- Set up welding equipment and machines according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
- Inspect welds for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards
- Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify accuracy
- Perform pre-heating and post-heating processes as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 18+ months of TIG welding experience – REQUIRED
- TIG welding experience ONLY (no MIG welding)
- Experience welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Aerospace or manufacturing experience preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass background check and drug screening
Compensation & Details
- Pay: $22.00 – $26.00/hr
- Schedule: Full-Time
