Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Overview
Apex Aero Center is looking for a Customer Service Representative who enjoys working with people, has an interest in aviation, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional experience for pilots and passengers.
This role requires someone who pays close attention to detail, communicates clearly, and can adapt in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly. Customer Service Representatives help create the first-class service experience that Apex Aero Center is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly both in person and over the phone.
- Assist pilots and passengers with services such as ground transportation, hotel arrangements, catering orders, and other requests.
- Anticipate customer needs and provide proactive service whenever possible.
- Coordinate with line service and other team members to ensure accurate and timely handling of aircraft services.
- Process sales transactions accurately and enter required information into the X1 system.
- Maintain awareness of all activity within the facility and surrounding ramp areas.
- Verify the identity and purpose of individuals entering Apex Aero Center facilities to maintain security and confidentiality.
- Track inbound and outbound aircraft with the line service team to ensure aircraft are handled efficiently.
Additional Responsibilities
- Support line service operations when needed, including escorting vehicles to aircraft, moving rental cars, or assisting with wing-walking.
- Monitor weather conditions and help communicate important updates to customers, tenants, and staff.
- Assist with day-to-day office responsibilities to ensure smooth front desk operations.
- Build positive relationships with customers, tenants, and vendors.
- Provide occasional after-hours support when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the FBO General Manager.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- College degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of customer service or related experience
- Hospitality, hotel, or aviation service experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods may be required.
- Ability to move quickly between the front desk, ramp access doors, and other service areas.
- Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions including noise, fumes, dirt, and temperature changes.
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
