Duties
- Continuously monitor aircraft positions using radar, radio communications, and tracking systems to ensure safe flight paths.
- Maintain real-time communication with flight crews, air traffic control, and ground operations to coordinate departures, arrivals, and in-flight adjustments.
- Track flight progress from departure to arrival, updating relevant parties on any deviations or delays.
- Ensure all activities comply with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs), maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Analyze flight data for operational efficiency, identifying potential issues before they impact safety or schedules.
- Document all communications, flight movements, and incidents accurately for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
- Assist in emergency response coordination by providing timely information and support during unforeseen events or incidents.
Experience
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) related to aircraft operations and safety standards.
- Experience working within the aviation industry or in a role requiring active monitoring of flights or transportation logistics.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting flight data, identifying anomalies, and making informed decisions quickly.
- Proven ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse teams including pilots, air traffic controllers, and ground staff.
- Familiarity with aviation tracking systems, radio communication protocols, and safety procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
